- En este paso yo mixie en la misma olla la calabaza hasta deshacerla totalmente o pueden retirar del agua la calabaza con una espumadera y hacer un puré y volverlo al agua nuevamente. Dejar que se cociné un par de minutos más. 
- Agregar la manteca y la harina de maíz, de a poco y siempre revolviendo para que no se hagan grumos. A partir de ahora hay que revolver constantemente.
- Por último se le agrega el queso y en mi caso el comino. Seguir revolviendo hasta que el queso se integre totalmente.
